A little more than just a nursery day

Peapods was created to be the sort of nursery we would want our own children to attend  somewhere children are really known, surrounded by wonderful people and given a huge variety of experiences that help them grow into confident, sociable and independent little people.

A Peapods day isn't just about what happens inside the nursery room. Throughout the year our children enjoy specialist activities, sports, music and movement, cooking, growing things, Forest School, trips, visitors, parties, performances, celebrations and plenty of spontaneous adventures along the way.

We want nursery to be somewhere children are excited to come to — and somewhere families feel part of something special.

Our Nursery Day

•  8:30am – 4:00pm (7.5 hours) — £90 per day

•  Early Arrival: 8:00am – 8:30am — £4 per day

Our standard attendance pattern is a minimum of two fixed days each week.

Government-Funded Childcare

We welcome children accessing government-funded childcare and offer both Term-Time and All-Year-Round attendance options.

The Full Peapods Experience

There's an awful lot packed into a year at Peapods.

Alongside their nursery day, children can enjoy a programme of additional experiences designed around their age and stage. These can include:

Coach Dan Sports • Sing & Sign • Disco Duck • Bertie Slippers • Tatty Bumpkin   Italian   Cooking Club • Forest School • Craft & Construction

And throughout the year there are also trips, visiting specialists, parties, celebrations, performances, Sports Day and our very special graduation experiences.

We also provide children's snacks and drinks throughout the day, together with child-specific consumables such as nappies, wipes, creams and sun cream, where required.

It's all part of creating the busy, sociable and varied nursery experience that Peapods has always been about.

A note about funded childcare

Government-funded childcare can be accessed at Peapods without purchasing additional provisions. Snacks, child-specific consumables and additional enrichment activities are separately provided and optional, and families may decline these without affecting their child's funded entitlement or core EYFS provision.

If you would like information about accessing a funded place without some or all of these additional provisions, we'll be happy to explain the available arrangements.
